PowerCurve is an existing account originations decision engine and this candidate will primarily support the BAU changes for this application. As we are going through the migration to SAS ID, expect this candidate to quickly learn the system and support the migration as needed.
Responsible For:
- Reporting into the CCS IT Delivery Manager:
- Responsible for the end to end delivery of the project. The responsibilities include the following software development activities.
- Requirement analysis: Analyze the requirements
- Design: Develop / review the technical design
- Coding: Analyze and develop code in J2EE
- 5-7 years of experience in software development
- Understand the requirements and identify gaps if any
- Analyze and investigate root cause for any production issues with potential permanent fix
Responsibilities
- Expertise and good hands-on
- Can quickly understand current application implementation and start providing all kind of application support (functional and technical)
- Batch and online application implementation
- Debugging all issue related to batch and online application
- Act a module lead for a subset of the team while analysing / reviewing the requirements
- Assist in preparation of the design document, system test plan as per requirements
- Develop / modify / Review the code as per the design, test plan, test cases
- Peer review code and performing / providing support for testing
- Review the key portions of the code before releasing to ensure compliance with standards and design agreed upon
- Documenting all the results as per the quality processes
- Provide BAU support for non-prod on-going test and access requests
Other responsibilities include:

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

- Java, J2EE, MQ, Web Services – REST, SOAP, UI – JSP
- Build and Deploy tools – Maven, Jenkins,
- Unit Testing – Junit, TDD (Test Driven Development)
- Experience working with SSO integration and LDAP.
- Web Sphere, Linux, putty
- Expert knowledge of OO and functional programing languages - Very Strong in Core Java (Collections, Threads, Regular Expressions, Exception handling), web service, MQ, web service and MQ connectivity with hosting application and front-end system (calling system)
- Proficient with Java and server-side web, using Java EE, Spring (Batch, Integration, MVC), Hibernate, Maven
- Good knowledge of data marshalling/de-marshalling using JSON and Byte Array
- Manage releases (packaging, build jobs, Jenkins)
- Designing user interactions on web pages and Developing back end website applications.
- Creating servers and databases for functionality.
- Strong hands-on experience on JUnit, Jenkin or Hudson, and Test Driven Development.
- Other application and infra monitoring tools like Splunk, AppD, SonarQ
