We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Provide 24x7x365 L1 and L2 Production Support for Distributed applications.
  • Work in day shift, night shift and regular timings as per the support roster on rotation basis. Support and shift duty will be there on weekends and public holidays.
  • Responsible for batch monitoring, alert acknowledgement, incident resolution, change order creation and execution, service recovery, root cause analysis, project implementation support, OS and Middleware patching activities, Disaster Recovery Exercise.
  • Coordinate with L3, development and infrastructure teams during incident resolution. Recover the service within the SLAs.
  • Create, review and improve Production Support documentation and procedures, troubleshooting guides, weekly reports summarizing Production performance.
  • The candidate is expected to quickly learn and support multiple products and applications across Distributed platforms
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Should have 5+ years of Production Support experience in Distributed technologies such as LINUX, Oracle DB, SQL, Windows, MQ, WAS, Java, Ansible, Control-M, Postman.
  • Should have experience in Service Management activities such as Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management.
  • Should be familiar with AppDynamics, Splunk, DevOPS procedures, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Service Dashboard reporting.
  • Should have very good communication skills and be able to communicate with business and IT stakeholders effectively and efficiently.
