The Opportunity:
The role of the D&I Senior Business Consultant is to help shape and define the change agenda for the Line of Business / Function they support on each engagement by designing solutions to strategic problems of the GB/GFs.
Typically, a Senior Business Consultant will work across various business domains and / or functions, but may choose to align themselves to a particular area as they gain more expertise and experience and as the team size allows.
What you’ll do:
Problem Solving and Critical Thinking
- Understanding wide array of approaches to information gathering that supports effective problem solving
- Able to navigate through unclear problems and develop structure and definition
- Applying structured thinking in presenting analysis and conclusions
- Taking ownership of solving problems end to end, solving discrete problems systematically and independently
Business Analysis and Design
- Understanding the end to end process of designing, developing and deploying target operating models
- Articulating the use of basic level business models and operating models and participating in their development
- Key contributor within an engagement team to test and refine designs with stakeholders
- Performing effective analysis and gap assessment to the required level of granularity based on different stakeholder needs / views
- Analyzing the current state, identifying the future state and then validating assumptions with stakeholders to align with business requirements
Commerciality
- Understanding the purpose and priorities of the organization, both now and in the future
- Thinking commercially to identify opportunities to develop business from new/existing internal customers
- Considering impact and dependencies of the group priorities for the project and its deliverables

- Bachelor Degree and MBA/ CA degree preferred
- Prior Big 4 Consulting Experience
- 8-13 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to operate at a management level, working across global business, regions and markets, helping the Consulting Leadership Team to maintain a global perspective on business transformation and consulting efforts.
- Ability to demonstrate the importance and value in engaging consulting support earlier in the change journey to ensure the right problems are being dealt with in priority.
- Ability to play a key role in helping the business define their business problem statements – challenging business perceptions where required.
- Ability to work independently and drive to both strategic / program delivered solutions and quick wins.
- Knowledge of Design Thinking Methodology
- Knowledge of Agile Methodology and Frameworks
