We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
 
In this role, you will:
  1. The Customer Selection & Exit Management(CSEM) Case Lead will be focused on taking CSEM to the next level of sustainability and efficiency. High level key responsibilities will be to;
  2. Ensure high quality of CSEM triggers, thereby maximizing stakeholder productivity.
  3. Make Build The Case, especially for high profile and complex cases, and that stakeholder inputs are gathered efficiently to allow the RM to maximize their time in preparing case presentations.
  4. Maximise Reputational Risk and Client Selection Committee time through quality presentations.
  5. Help RMs to navigate and, wherever possible, find ways to alleviate process burden on RMs, and raise awareness of best practices and "what good looks like" amongst RMs and their teams
  6. Ensure upskilling of Case Analysts within the Global Service Centre to improve underlying quality.
  7. Take ownership of end to end procedures for HBCN CMB, and oversee effectiveness.
  8. Collaborate closely with partners in CMB Business Financial Crime Risk (BFCR), ASP CMB, HBCN CMB, and functional stakeholders e.g. FCC and FCTM to drive end to end effectiveness through process and people.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
  1. Bachelor's Degree.
  2. 5 years minimum experience in Financial Institutions or similar areas (e.g. major consultancy firms).
  3. Knowledge of the HSBC CMB customer and financial crime risk management lifecycle and control framework, including relevant processes and and Bank systems.
  4. Experience in advising and/or educating others on complex business and/or risk management activities.
  5. Self starter, able to work independently but with a good sense of where escalation is required.
  6. Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
  7. Organized and logical thinker, with good understanding of the importance of well defined processes and governance.
  8. Strong interpersonal skills and an eagerness to develop strong partnership.
  9. Strong written and verbal communication (English and Mandarin essential) and presentation skills.
  10. Cantonese communication skills desirable but not essential.
  11. Experience in documenting and maintaining procedures.
