Hang Seng Investment Management - Client Solutions and Institutional Business Department
Hang Seng Investment Management Limited (HSVM), incorporated in Hong Kong with limited liability in April 1993 is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hang Seng Bank Limited (the “Bank”) and provides investment management services to the Bank and the Bank’s customers. It is well-known for its extensive experience in managing index funds including a series of retail funds and exchange traded funds (ETFs), institutional clients and private client portfolios. Regardless of market conditions, fulfilling customers’ needs and long term benefit have always been at the forefront of our service commitment. As a result, Hang Seng Investment Management has successfully established its long-lasting solid position in the asset management field (including ETFs, retail funds and MPF funds).
We are currently seeking a high-calibre professional to join our department as Wholesales Distribution Manager.
Principal responsibilities
- Maintain client relationships and increase market shares among existing distributors
- Conduct presentations to position HSVM and showcase strengths of HSVM products
- Assist Head of Wholesale Distribution to formulate Sales and Marketing strategy and achieve assigned sales targets
- Work closely with other team-members to achieve team objectives
- Develop new fund distribution channels in HK
- Keep abreast of competitor activity, market development and respond proactively to any market changes. Initiate product and marketing ideas corresponding to the changes.
- Follow any compliance requirements
Requirements
- University degree in Business Management, Banking, Finance or a related discipline or other relevant qualifications
- More than 5-years relevant experience in asset management industry or fund sales related roles
- Strong understanding of investment products, market dynamics and regulatory developments of the banking & asset management industry desired
- Strong relationship with distributors and excellent presentation skills
- Able to work under pressure with tight deadline and good business sense
- Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese (written and spoken)
