We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of software engineer.
Principal responsibilities
• Responsible for designing and creating the data warehouse and all related extraction, transformation and load of data functions
• Designing and developing ETL processes for data warehouse from acquisition and staging of data, storing records within the warehouses, historical archive and transforming records for loading into the reporting tables
• Design, build, test and maintain data management systems, making sure they meet business requirements and user needs
• Deliver services that are automated, reliable and secure
• Prepare key documentation to support the technical design in technical specifications.
• Work closely with engineering leader, data architects, and SCRUM master
• Recommend ways to improve data efficiency and reliability
• Industrialises the delivery of data products and services into systems and business processes
Requirements
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
•Understanding of tools and components of Data Architecture
•Good understanding of the concepts and best practices of data warehouse ETL design
•Knowledge and experience with Data Warehousing and ETL Tools.
•Experience and knowledge of API design and development
•Coding experience
•Database: SQL and NoSQL DB, such as, MongoDB, Teradata, Oracle, etc.
•Programming Java, Python, R; BI tools: QlikSense, R & Python
•Knowledge of various Cloud services e.g. Machine Learning, Tensor flow, Knowledge graph and Search engines etc. is advantage.
•BI tools: Cognos, QlickSense is advanced
