We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.
In this role, you will:
- To act as engineer for new decision system based on SAS Via platform, where we are migrating account opening and account management strategies.
- You will be migrating COBOL code to SAS on SAS ID, build the interface with integrating systems and perform unit and system testing.
- Apart from that you would be SAS ID, understanding the functionality for deaccessioning, help business build integration with calling system which should help expedite the change cycles and increase the value generated.
- As there are plans to migrate SAS ID to Google Cloud platform, this provides opportunity to use existing skills while build new skills on GCP on job.
- Works independently under limited supervision and applies knowledge of subject matter in Cards (V+ plus) , TRIAD domain and SAS. Possess sufficient knowledge and skills to effectively deal with issues, challenges within field of specialization to develop simple application solutions.
- Understands the TRIAD and V+ functionalities which will help migrate all the TRIAD functionalities present in Mainframe to SAS, while preserving all functionality. Develop, Debug, Test SAS code in SASID as per the requirements per requirements with good quality of code. Good Understanding about the mainframe code to perform TRIAD analysis.
- Understands the TRIAD and V+ functionalities which will help migrate all the TRIAD functionalities present in Mainframe to SAS, while preserving all functionality.
- Develop, Debug, Test SAS code in SASID as per the requirements per requirements with good quality of code.
- Perform integration testing with systems such as cards and core banking
- Support UAT, parallel run, comparison tests between SAS and TRIAD and Go Live
- Support migration of SAS ID to Google Cloud in coming years
- Deliver the user stories on time in a sprint with minimum bugs
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Experience with 4-6 years in Mainframe. Well Versed with languages like COBOL, JCL, CICS etc.
- -Understanding about TRIAD and Vision plus domain knowledge.
- -Well versed with various treatment areas such as Delinquency, Overlimit, Pricing, Reissue, MCOM, Authorization, credit limit and scoring within TRIAD.
- -Well versed with Vision plus domain knowledge such as payment processing, delinquency processing, interest processing, transaction processing, batch flow, online flow etc.
- -Well versed with COBOL, JCL, VSAM languages.
- -Well versed with SAS language.
- -Basic knowledge about SAS Viya product.
