Senior Wealth Academy Manager
Retail Distribution of Wealth & Personal Banking
Principal responsibilities
- Execute Coaching strategies and manage resources to achieve business targets and optimize business profits
- Prepare holistic wealth strategies tailor made for divisions and ensure management directions are implemented locally focusing in HNW segment
- Communicate strategic directions and to provide internal technical consultancy to CRMs of expertise surrounding financial planning techniques and where and how products fit into overall portfolio's as defined by the Group
- Drive market leading standards for conduct and controls in line with the Group values and expectations
- Contribute to WPB Transformation Project and provide suitable supports to align the latest management directives
- Lead, execute and proactively implement advanced coaching techniques to motivate and encourage learning and re-enforce application within the work place
- Comply with local regulations in all aspects of strategy, sales processes, product suitability, client correspondence, financial promotions, administration and compliant handling
- Adhere to all relevant processes and procedures of the Group compliance policy and internal controls
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration or other relevant qualification.
- Minimum 8 to 10 years’ relevant experience in retail banking, with strong knowledge of investment / insurance products
- Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities
- Good presentation, interpersonal, negotiation, communication and analytical skills
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Passes in the Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examination and Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination and attains relevant professional qualifications such as CFP/CFMP/QRA/CFA an advantage
- Customer centric mindset and ability to manage complex interactions effectively
- Shown strong situation awareness, strong desire to learn and able to work in Agile environment
- Able to inspire others to achieve their goals/ambitions in a variety of situations
