We work in close collaboration with HSBC's bankers and product specialists globally to provide tailored investment banking, securities broking, investment research and financial advisory services to meet the needs of our clients.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
Responsibilities of the role holder
As part of the sales team driving the growing business, the candidate will primarily focus on below responsibilities:
- Build and maintain business relationships with target institutional accounts.
- Work closely externally with client’s investment and research personnel and internally with HSBC research and corporate access teams.
- Provide account coverage services to domestic and offshore institutional accounts.
- Support brokerage division strategic initiatives and day to day client activities.
- Collaborate with local and regional stakeholders to achieve positive outcome.
- Demonstrate high professionalism
- Understand, follow and demonstrate full compliance with all relevant internal and external regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of HSBC, also in line with the Code of Conduct
- Conduct and support ad hoc projects where applicable
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Master degree in relevant majors from renowned universities.
- Experience in covering domestic fund management companies, private equity funds and global hedge funds.
- Thorough understanding of domestic and international capital markets and sales business.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and high integrity and conduct standard.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience in sales positions.
- Must complete SAC licensing exam including investment advisory qualification, within 6-months of onboarding.
- Strong proficiency in written and spoken Chinese and English.
