We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer
Principle Responsibilities
- The primary responsibility of the role is to work on development related requirements received by IAM team from the business and cybersecurity IAM teams.
- This involves working on ad hoc enhancements to the existing systems and creating new software based on inputs received from IAM strategy team.
- Role requires the individual to be self-driven, able to work with minimal guidance and supervision, collaborate with the development team members who are spread across the geographic locations to help the team the delivery commitments.
- Good communications skills are essential as day to day work is discussed as part of the team scrum meetings over the call.
- Must be able to work in shifts when required and deliver well under pressure against targets set.
- Maintain and exceed existing SLA’s and ensure compliance to HSBC policies at all times.
- Dot Net development experience (ASP.Net, ADO.Net, Web Services, Windows Services)
- Strong understanding of Object Oriented Development
- Strong understanding of ASP.Net life cycle
- APIs
- Knowledge on client side development (Angular 5 or more, JavaScript, ajax)
- Transact SQL Skills (database modelling and querying/procedures skills)
- Good communication skills, advanced English
- Must have hands-on experience on Angular, ASP.Net, C#, APIs & MS SQL.
