Retail Distribution

Hang Seng's Retail Distribution focuses on personal wealth management and financial services. Our one-stop wealth management initiatives are designed for both our affluent and mass integrated account customers. With more than 290 branches and automated banking centres, including around 60 Prestige Banking Centres for our high-end personal customers, we serve over half of the adult population in Hong Kong while offering an extensive range of products to our valued customers.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Relationship Manager Team Leader (Cross Border).

Principal responsibilities

  • Support the section head to manage the RM team to acquire, retain and develop sustainable relationships of mainland customers to achieve assigned KPIs
  • Solicit new business to identify opportunities for wealth management penetration and grow revenue
  • maintain close working relationships with different stakeholders and product owners to execute strategy, sales and service model for offshore banking business
  • Organize experience sharing and role play sessions to enhance team members’ knowledge and reinforce customer servicing skills
  • Manage operational risk, including its identification, assessment, mitigation and controls, loss identification and reporting by observing the relevant policies and guidelines issued by the Bank and the Group
Requirements
  • University degree or other relevant qualifications such as CFA, CFP or CFMP
  • Minimum 8 years of sales experience including 3 years in managing the portfolio of high net worth customers
  • Exposure to Mainland market segment and have experience in dealing with Mainland clients will be an advantage
  • Strong understanding of branch services and operations
  • Pass the Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examination and fulfil the competency requirements to carry out regulated activities as defined by the Regulators
  • Strong self-motivation and drive to succeed, with ability to work under pressure
  • High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
  • Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • High proficiency in Mandarin is a MUST.  Good command of Cantonese and English is an advantage
